LEQ Assessment on Thursday November 7

We will spend Wed. class 11/6 going over LEQ requirements and rubric.  Each class will be presented with 3 possible LEQ choices.  You will be required to answer 1.  Consider the following broad topics/themes to help in your preparation:

• Democratic foundations of Colonial America (1607-1754)
• Causes of the American Revolution (1763-1774)
• Impact/Evaluation of the American Revolution (1776-1787)
• Successes and Failures during the Critical Period (1781-1787)
• The Impact of Political and/or economic decisions during the Early Republic ( 1789-1835)  

All responses will reflect:

For this skill you must do the following: 

    1. explain the relative historical significance of specific historical  developments in relation to a larger pattern of continuity and/or change.

2.  describe patterns of continuity and/or change over time

3.  explain patterns of continuity and/or change over time
